Madden (1-1) took the loss Saturday against the Orioles. He allowed one run on three hits and one walk in 3.2 innings. He struck out one.

Análisis

Madden entered in the second inning following the opener, Beau Brieske, who pitched the opening frame. Madden looked good once again, as he only ran into problems in the third inning when he allowed his lone run. After starting in his MLB debut, the rookie has pitched in long relief each of his last three outings and has allowed just five earned runs in 17.2 innings. The 24-year-old will carry a 2.55 ERA into his next appearance.
