Plates three in win

Hernandez went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 13-7 win over the Giants.

Análisis

Hernandez had an RBI double in the third inning to get the Dodgers back within a run, and he put them ahead with a two-run double in the fifth inning that sparked a six-run frame. Over his last four games, he's gone 7-for-18 (.389) with five extra-base hits and six RBI. The outfielder looks to be back in a groove after a lackluster July and August. He's slashing .245/.281/.458 on the year while adding 24 home runs, 84 RBI, 59 runs scored, 27 doubles and five stolen bases across 122 contests.

Hits another homer Wednesday

Hernandez went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a 9-0 win against Colorado on Wednesday.

Análisis

Hernandez capped the scoring in a dominant Dodgers victory with a 445-foot solo shot to center field in the eighth inning. The long ball was his third in his past two contests following a 14-game homerless stretch. Hernandez batted just .122 with a 30.4 percent strikeout rate during that power drought, but he seems to be getting back in tune just in time for the stretch run.

Breaks out with two homers

Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Rockies.

Análisis

Hernandez went yard in the fourth and eighth innings to get himself out of a slump. He entered Tuesday's action just 3-for-22 (.136) over his first six games in September, and he hadn't hit a homer since Aug. 20, which was also against the Rockies. The outfielder is up to 23 homers this season and has added a .244/.281/.452 slash line with 80 RBI, 56 runs scored, five stolen bases and 25 doubles over 119 contests.
