Placed on injured list
The Brewers placed Frelick (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Tuesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Análisis
Frelick strained his hamstring while making a sliding catch during the final game before the All-Star break. After waiting to see how he felt coming out of the break, the Brewers will now place the 25-year-old on the shelf, keeping him out for at least another week. Blake Perkins was recalled from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move and will likely take over as Milwaukee's primary right fielder until Frelick can return.

Nursing Grade 1 hamstring strain
Frelick was diagnosed Wednesday with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Análisis
Frelick injured his hamstring Sunday in the Brewers' final game before the All-Star break. The Brewers will give Frelick a couple more days to recover before deciding ahead of Friday's game in Los Angeles whether to place him on the 10-day injured list. If Frelick requires a trip to the IL, Blake Perkins is a candidate to be called up from Triple-A Nashville to replace Frelick on the active roster.

Frelick (hamstring) is undergoing additional imaging, including an MRI, after Sunday's 8-1 win over the Nationals, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Frelick was removed from Sunday's contest with left hamstring discomfort in the top of the third inning after making a sliding catch in right field. After the game, manager Pat Murphy said that it "hurts his heart" to see one of his favorite players go down. The outfielder will now get the benefit of five days off for the All-Star break, and more information on his status will likely come in the near future.

The Brewers announced that Frelick was removed from Sunday's game against the Nationals due to left hamstring discomfort. He went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI prior to departing.
Análisis
Frelick sustained the injury in the top of the third inning on a sliding catch of a flyball in foul territory. The Brewers will presumably send Frelick in for further testing during the All-Star break to determine the severity of his hamstring strain, but given the nature of his injury, the 25-year-old could be at risk of landing on the injured list. Frelick heads into the second half with a .294/.354/.404 slash line to go with seven home runs, 17 stolen bases, 46 runs and 39 RBI through 93 games.

Análisis
Frelick made a sliding catch in foul territory for the first out of the third inning on a Alex Call flyball near the right-field warning track, but he was in discomfort when he tried to get up after the play. He ultimately required assistance off the field from a team trainer and was replaced in the outfield by Isaac Collins. The Brewers should have more information on the nature of Frelick's injury later Sunday, but the 25-year-old's availability for the start of Milwaukee's second-half schedule is now in question.
