Secures third save
Garcia earned the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Athletics, allowing one walk and striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.
Análisis
Garcia was summoned to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning and worked around a two-out walk to slam the door on 17 pitches. It marked the second straight converted save for the 32-year-old, and he's now held opponents scoreless in 18 of 19 appearances to open the campaign. Overall, he owns a 0.50 ERA, 0.44 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB across 18 frames and should remain Baltimore's preferred option for saves until Ryan Helsley (elbow) returns.

Picks up save Wednesday
Garcia recorded his second save of the season Wednesday after tossing a scoreless ninth inning against the Marlins, walking one and striking out one.
Análisis
Garcia needed just 15 pitches (nine strikes) to get the job done in the bottom of the ninth while holding a three-run lead. After issuing a leadoff walk to Owen Caissie, Garcia induced a double-play groundout from Otto Lopez before retiring Javier Sanoja on a game-ending strikeout. Garcia seems to be the top option to operate as the Orioles' closer as long as Ryan Helsley (elbow) is on the shelf and has been pitching very well of late. This was his sixth straight scoreless outing, a span where he's yet to allow a hit while posting a 6:2 K:BB through five frames.

Notches win Tuesday
Garcia (3-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 9-7 victory over the Marlins, walking one and striking out two over 1.1 scoreless innings.
Análisis
After Miami tied the game at 7-7 in the eighth inning off Andrew Kittredge, Garcia came on to get the final out of the frame and then delivered a perfect ninth after the O's struck for two runs in the top of the ninth. Garcia appears to be the top high-leverage option in the Baltimore bullpen while Ryan Helsley (elbow) is on the shelf, a role the former has earned with a 0.56 ERA, 0.38 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB through 16 innings. Over his 17 appearances so far in 2026, Garcia has recorded three wins, seven holds and one save, and he could be poised to boost the latter number over the next couple weeks.
