Back in Rangers' bullpen
The Rangers recalled Curvelo from Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday.

Curvelo was just sent down Sunday, but he's back to replace the injured Jalen Beeks (back). The right-handed Curvelo has made seven appearances out of the Texas bullpen this season, logging a 4.91 ERA and 4:2 K:BB over 7.1 frames.

Leaves with thigh injury Saturday
Manager Skip Schumaker said Curvelo exited Saturday's game against the Guardians with a left thigh injury, Matt Postins of SI.com reports.

Curvelo was struck on the inner thigh above the knee by a comebacker off the bat of Patrick Bailey in the top of the eighth inning and was immediately removed from the game after he fell to the ground following a bad throw to first base on the play. "He wasn't feeling really good," Schumaker said. It's unclear if Curvelo will need a stint on the injured list.
