Precautionary exit with side issue
Sanchez's removal from Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros was a precautionary move due to an issue with his left side, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Análisis
The Marlins sensed based on Sanchez's mannerisms following a fourth-inning double that he was uncomfortable and opted to pull him just to be safe. When asked by reporters after the game what he was dealing with, Sanchez pointed to his left side. Any side issue is a bit worrisome, but it does not seem at this point that there are any plans to take imaging of the area. Consider Sanchez day-to-day until more information is available.

Exits early Thursday
Sanchez was removed from Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros with a possible injury, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Análisis
Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a single and double Thursday, but he was removed for a pinch runner after lining a double to left field in the fourth inning. It's unclear if his removal had anything to do with an injury, though the Marlins should offer more information after the game.

Clubs first spring homer
Sanchez went 1-for-2 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Monday's split-squad game against the Nationals.
Análisis
The outfielder turned on a Mitchell Parker pitch in the fourth inning for his first long ball of the spring. Sanchez dealt with a sore elbow earlier in camp and has struggled to find his timing at the plate, going 3-for-22 (.136) in nine Grapefruit League appearances with a 2:7 BB:K. He's healthy now however, and he could even open the season as the starting center fielder given the Marlins' lack of appealing options at the position.
