Misses no time
Burger went 0-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Angels.
Análisis
Burger was removed from Saturday's game after getting hit by a pitch on the wrist but was able to play Sunday. It might have been a different story if the Rangers were out of the playoff hunt, but Texas is tied with Houston for first in the AL West. Burger admitted to the wrist still being sore, which could limit his production. He has one hit over his last 12 at-bats and is batting .217 (13-for-60) during the month of August.

Playing through wrist injury Sunday
Burger (wrist) will start at first base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Angels.
Análisis
Per Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, Burger said that his left wrist is still sore after he was hit by a pitch Saturday, but he's made enough improvement to play in the series finale. The wrist issue probably won't help Burger's chances of regaining the offense that's been missing for much of the second half; he's slashing an unremarkable .220/.274/.394 with five home runs in 31 games following the All-Star break.

Leaves game with wrist injury
Burger was removed from Saturday's game against the Angels due to a left wrist contusion, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Análisis
Burger was hit by a pitch on his left wrist in the third inning, and he was replaced by Nicky Lopez in the top of the fifth. The good news for Burger is that X-rays did not show a fracture, so he can be considered day-to-day and could be available to play in Sunday's series finale.

Receiving Wednesday off
Burger is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.
Análisis
Joc Pederson will receive the start at first base while Burger gets the evening off. Burger had been included in the lineup in each of the previous four games, going 6-for-14 with two home runs, one double, two walks, five RBI and three runs during that stretch.
