Harris (4-2) allowed one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one over 1.1 innings, taking a blown save but earning the win over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Harris served up a game-tying solo shot to Andres Gimenez in the ninth inning, but he was able to get the win when the Athletics answered back in their half of the frame. This outing ended a 6.2-inning scoreless streak for Harris, who earned three saves and two holds in that span. He's at a 3.45 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 83:39 K:BB with 15 saves in 22 chances and 12 holds over 62.2 innings this season. Harris and Elvis Alvarado have shared the closing duties for the Athletics recently.

Harris walked one and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Friday's 7-6 win over the Mariners.

Harris picked up his second save in as many days, perhaps signaling a shift in momentum back in his favor after Elvis Alvarado saw more save chances in late August. Harris is on a 6.2-inning scoreless streak with a 10:3 K:BB in that span. For the year, he's posted a 3.38 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 82:38 K:BB through 61.1 innings while adding 15 saves, 12 holds and six blown saves. Whether he's closing or setting up, Harris looks to be a lock for late-inning work.

Harris earned a save against the Mariners on Thursday, striking out two batters over one clean inning.
Análisis
Harris inherited a three-run lead when he entered in the ninth inning and blew through three Seattle batters, throwing 10 of 14 pitches for strikes and notching a pair of punchouts. The southpaw collected his first save since Aug. 23, as Elvis Alvarado had stepped in for the team's two most recent saves prior to Thursday. Based on recent usage, it appears Harris and Alvarado are operating in a loose closer committee.
