Ahead of schedule
Pratt (hamstring) could be cleared to return from the injured list after a minimum-length stay, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Análisis
The Brewers originally anticipated getting Pratt back sometime in late August after he landed on the injured list Sunday with a strained hamstring. However, he's already made significant progress in his recovery and could now be on track to return from the IL when eligible on Wednesday. The team has already confirmed that Pratt will head out on a rehab assignment before being activated, though he likely won't need more than a game or two to ramp up.

Targeting late-August return
Pratt (hamstring) is expected to return from the injured list sometime in late August, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Análisis
Manager Pat Murphy said Tuesday that Pratt is making good progress in his recovery from a strained right hamstring, but he's still likely multiple weeks out from returning to the starting lineup. With Joey Ortiz (back) also dealing with an injury, David Hamilton and Ji Hwan Bae have seen an increase in playing time recently.

Heads to IL with hamstring strain
The Brewers placed Pratt on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a right hamstring strain.
Análisis
Brewers manager Pat Murphy disclosed that Pratt was set to undergo an MRI on Sunday after experiencing hamstring discomfort during Saturday's 4-3 win over the Twins. While the results of Pratt's imaging aren't yet available, the Brewers determined that the rookie's hamstring injury was enough of a concern to keep him out for the next week and a half. David Hamilton will draw the start at shortstop in Sunday's series finale, and he and Joey Ortiz (neck) will likely serve as the Brewers' primary options at the position while Pratt is on the shelf.

Nursing hamstring issue
Manager Pat Murphy said Pratt, who is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, is undergoing an MRI on his hamstring, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports.
Análisis
The rookie shortstop felt some discomfort during Saturday's contest and believes he could play Sunday, but the club will instead play it safe and send him for medical imaging. Pratt should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated. David Hamilton is shifting to shortstop Sunday while Andrew Vaughn receives a start at third base.
