Norby had to be scratched from Tuesday's lineup with lingering left foot soreness as a result of a foul ball off the foot in Monday's game. He's checked out fine and is back in there for Wednesday's series finale.

Norby fouled a pitch off the foot during Monday's game and has some lingering discomfort. He was set to undergo further testing, but Marlins manager Skip Schumaker believes Norby will be OK. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Norby began the scoring barrage for the Marlins with a two-run blast in the first inning. He then put the cap on a seven-run third inning with another two-run dinger. The rookie deadline acquisition now has three homers and seven RBI over the last two games and has hit safely in 17 of 18 games since joining the Marlins, batting .329 with six home runs, seven doubles, 13 RBI, 18 runs, and two steals across 73 at bats.

He got things started for the Marlins by launching a two-run shot off Aaron Nola in the first inning. Norby has been the most impressive of Miami's trade-deadline acquisitions, and in 17 games for his new club he's slashing .319/.365/.594 with seven doubles, four homers, two steals, nine RBI and 16 runs.
