Makes fourth straight start
Martinez started in right field and went 2-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-5 win over Baltimore.

Martinez tripled and scored in the second inning and then singled and scored in the seventh. He made a fourth consecutive start, as Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt navigates around an injury to Chase DeLauter (wrist), who has missed the last four contests. Martinez has rebounded nicely from a three-month slumber that saw him slash .193/.228/.360 over 43 games between May and July. The outfielder is batting .303 (30-for-99) with seven doubles, one triple, three home runs and 17 RBI over 30 games since Aug. 1.

Martinez (shoulder) is starting in right field and batting second against the Tigers on Saturday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
Análisis
Martinez sustained a left shoulder bruise during the second game of Friday's doubleheader against Detroit when he collided with Brayan Rocchio. The injury doesn't appear to be a major concern, as Martinez is in the lineup for Saturday's contest. He has gone 8-for-26 with one steal, two home runs, six RBI and six runs scored over his last nine games.

Exits with shoulder bruise
Martinez was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers with a left shoulder bruise, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Análisis
Martinez was involved in a collision with teammate Brayan Rocchio in the top of the fourth inning, leading to Martinez's exit. However, the Guardians are labeling his removal as precautionary, so it would seem Martinez escaped with a relatively minor injury.

Leaves game after collision
Martinez was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers after colliding with teammate Brayan Rocchio in shallow left field in the top of the fourth inning, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
Análisis
Rocchio made the catch and both players were able to walk off under their own power, but Martinez was lifted before the top of the fifth. Nathaniel Lowe replaced Martinez in the game, pushing David Fry from first base out to left field.
