Strong series against Cleveland
Benintendi went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday against the Guardians.

He reached base in three of four games against the Guardians this weekend, going 5-for-11 with two runs scored, a home run and a stolen base. Benintendi heads into the All-Star break with a .196 ISO across 270 plate appearances, which would be the highest mark of his career in a full season.

Swipes first bag
Benintendi went 2-for-3 with a run scored, a walk and a stolen base Saturday against the Guardians.
Análisis
Benintendi entered Saturday's game having gone hitless in his last four starts and 15 at-bats. He led off both the first and fourth innings with a single, stealing third base and coming home to score on the latter occasion. That was Benintendi's first stolen base attempt of the season, and he's now tallied 30 runs scored across 66 games.

Out again versus lefty
Benintendi is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Guardians.
Análisis
For the second day in a row, the left-handed-hitting Benintendi is out of the lineup with the opposition sending a lefty pitcher to the mound. Benintendi is 4-for-31 over his last eight games, which could be a bigger factor in him sitting two straight games than the fact that the opposing pitchers have been lefties. Michael Taylor will draw a second straight start in left field.

Out against left-hander
Benintendi is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jays.
Análisis
The left-handed-hitting Benintendi isn't a platoon bat, but he'll get a breather Wednesday as the Blue Jays send southpaw Eric Lauer to the hill. Michael Taylor will patrol left field and bat ninth for the White Sox.
