Not playing Tuesday
Herro (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.
Análisis
It wasn't a good sign to see Herro added to the injury report late due to left quad soreness. The veteran guard will indeed sit out Tuesday's game, and his next opportunity to play is Thursday against the Bucks. The Heat will be without Herro, Norman Powell (groin), Andrew Wiggins (toe) and Kel'el Ware (shoulder), so more playing time will be available for the likes of Jaime Jaquez, Pelle Larsson, Myron Gardner and Simone Fontecchio.

Análisis
Herro was a late addition to the injury report, which is an ominous sign in fantasy hoops. If Herro is unable to give it a go, Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez could be more involved for the Heat.

Flirts with triple-double in win
Herro recorded 33 points (11-20 FG, 8-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 128-120 victory over the Hornets.
Análisis
Herro was dialed in from distance, drilling his first six attempts from beyond the arc, and he didn't miss his first three-point attempt until late in the third quarter. He got whatever he wanted throughout the game and finished with an impressive plus-19 differential in the narrow win. The Heat have now won four in a row, but they'll have a tough test against the Pistons on Sunday.

Herro closed with 25 points (9-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and five assists across 31 minutes during Thursday's 126-110 victory over Brooklyn.
Análisis
Herro was part of the starting lineup for a third straight contest, and it's clear he's going to remain in that role as long as he stays healthy -- though that has been a big "if" with him all season long. Herro is trending in the right direction from a scoring perspective as well, and he's tallied 20-plus points in three of his last four contests.
