Nurkic generated 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 10 rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and one block across 31 minutes of Saturday's 147-116 loss to Miami.

Nurkic became the eighth player in the NBA to post three triple-doubles this season, and he joins Nikola Jokic (knee) and Jalen Johnson as the only players in the association to have three consecutive triple-doubles this year. Nurkic's success hasn't exactly translated to wins -- Utah has lost two straight games by double-digits -- but it's certainly been a welcome sight for fantasy managers. Nurkic had one career triple-double before 2025-26, and it came during the 2018-19 season. In 36 games this season, Nurkic is averaging 11.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.3 blocks across 26.5 minutes per game.

Nurkic is unlikely to play Saturday while battling an undisclosed illness. The big man started the previous three games and posted massive production, averaging 17.7 points, 12.7 rebounds and 9.7 assists in 30.7 minutes per contest, including two triple-doubles. With Nurkic doubtful and Kevin Love (knee) already ruled out, Utah's thin frontcourt may have to lean on Kyle Filipowski and Kyle Anderson for extended minutes at center.

Nurkic turned in his second triple-double in as many games with another stellar performance Thursday night. The big man's playmaking ability has been on full display lately, as he's dished out double-digit assists in back-to-back appearances after failing to do so in his first 33 games of the campaign. Nurkic has now recorded two of Utah's last three triple-doubles dating back to 2008, per Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune, and he's just the second player in franchise history to produce back-to-back triple-doubles, with the other being Hall of Famer Pete Maravich back in 1975.

Nurkic impressed Tuesday, stuffing the stat sheet en route to his second career triple-double, with his first coming Jan. 16, 2019, when he played for Portland. The big man led all players with a season-high 18 rebounds. Additionally, he tied the game-best mark in assists, setting a new season high. Nurkic has racked up three double-doubles and a triple-double over his last five appearances, averaging 16.6 points, 14.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists per tilt during that span.
