Nembhard has been ruled out Wednesday against the Nets due to lower back injury management.

The Pacers will be sitting multiple key players for the final game before the All-Star break. With T.J. McConnell (hamstring) also sidelined Wednesday, the Pacers will be left with Kam Jones, Quenton Jackson and Ethan Thompson as their available options at point guard.

Nembhard had 24 points (9-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and 10 assists across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 137-134 overtime victory over the Knicks.
Análisis
Nembhard recorded his eighth double-double of the season, helping the Pacers to an improbable victory. While it does appear as though Indiana will shift gears at some point, for now, Nembhard's role appears relatively secure. In six appearances over the past two weeks, he has averaged 17.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.7 three-pointers, good enough for top-80 value. Assuming his playing time reduces at some point before the season is done, managers could certainly explore trade options sooner rather than later.

Nears double-double in loss
Nembhard chipped in 22 points (6-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 105-99 loss to the Bucks.
Análisis
After scoring just seven points his last time out during Monday's loss to Houston, Nembhard recorded a team-high 22 points. The 26-year-old point guard has reached the 20-point threshold twice over his last three appearances and 15 times this season. He also recorded a game-high-tying eight assists Friday and has dished out at least eight dimes in seven consecutive contests.

Nembhard sat out Tuesday's loss to the Jazz for lower-back injury management, but he's primed to return to the court Friday. Over his last 11 contests, Nembhard has averaged 17.5 points, 9.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 32.8 minutes per game. Ben Sheppard could be headed to the bench Friday.
