Last week, we were thrilled to announce the addition of Essence to Reward Boxes. Essence is the ultimate Sorare secret, granting you the power to craft Sorare Cards! 🧑‍🔬 Details on Essence Recipe & Card Factory Operations
Get ready to dive into the specifics of the Essence recipe and how your Card Factory will function. You can already view Essence quantities and winning odds within the International Competitions Reward Boxes by accessing the prize pools: HERE.

We remind you that Essence will be added to our core competitions when those International Special competitions end.  Please note that when it’s the case, these odds will differ and vary based on the divisions you are in.

You will soon be able to cook! We remind you that you can accumulate Essence of each scarcity. See below the details on the amount of Essence needed to craft cards at various milestones and the associated probabilities for crafting cards from different tiers. Everything is now in your hands: perform, progress, and win rewards!

❓ Essence FAQ

Here are the answers to some important questions raised by the community about Essence:

• Can I win Essence by playing Rivals?
  Yes, you will have the chance to win Essence through Sorare Rivals as soon as the European Championship starts! Compete in the Rivals League for the best Daily Score or in the Arena to win Boxes that may contain Essence. The quantity of Essence in those boxes as well as the winning odds will be available by the time the European Championship kicks-off.
  
  
• Will the Essence I win during the summer expire when the European season starts?
  No, Essence will not expire at the start of the European season.
  
  
• How does claiming work?
  Whenever you reach a milestone, you can choose to claim a card or continue accumulating Essence for a higher milestone. However, claiming is restricted to the highest milestone reached. For example, if you have 102 Limited Essence, you can only unlock the 3rd Milestone, and claim one card. You cannot claim 5 cards from the 1st Milestone.
  
  
• What competition will my card be eligible for?
  Your card’s eligibility will depend on the core competitions you earned Essence from – Champion, Challenger, Contender, U23. If you obtained 70% of your Essence from Champion and 30% from Contender, you will have a 70% chance of crafting a Champion card and a 30% chance of crafting a Contender card. Essence won through ‘global’ competitions (special weeklies, Rivals, etc.) will not affect these odds. If all of your Essence is won through “Global Competitions”, you will craft a random card among our Global pool.

🔭 Scouting Time!
Only 10 days until the competitions start! To help your scouting, we’ve added two league filters: “European Championship” and “Copa America” (via Opta). As soon as the official lists are communicated, our provider updates the data, ensuring the filters accurately reflect the participating players. Who will be your decisive signing? Scout NOW

🚫 Special Competitions Rules
Please note that for these Special Competitions, Managers cannot mix scarcities by using cards from higher scarcities in their lineups.

💫 Semi-Pro Competition
These international events will also feature a “Semi-Pro” competition, allowing beginner Managers to play with 4 Common cards and one Limited card. This competition is exclusively open to Managers who own 10 Pro cards or fewer. It’s the perfect opportunity to refer friends and share the summer excitement on Sorare! Remember, you both could win $50 in credits.
