Will make Milwaukee debut Friday
Kuzma will officially make his Bucks debut Friday against the Hawks, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Kuzma was shipped to the Bucks in a deal involving Khris Middleton being dealt to the Wizards prior to Thursday's NBA trade deadline. Kuzma appeared in 32 regular-season outings for Washington, averaging 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 three-pointers, shooting a career-low 42.0 percent from the field in 27.7 minutes per contest.

The Bucks acquired Kuzma, Patrick Baldwin and a 2025 second-round draft pick from the Wizards on Wednesday in exchange for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson and a 2028 first-round pick swap, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Kuzma's name had been heavily linked to the Bucks in recent days, and the Wizards were able to work out a deal to send the 29-year-old forward to Milwaukee. He had been in the midst of a down season in Washington, shooting just 42 percent from the field and 28.1 percent from beyond the arc while averaging 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 27.7 minutes per contest. In Milwaukee, it's not immediately clear if Kuzma will move into the starting lineup, or if he'll serve as the team's sixth man like Middleton had in recent weeks prior to being traded.

Kuzma racked up 31 points (13-24 FG, 5-10 3Pt), eight rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 victory over the Timberwolves.

The 29-year-old forward led the Wizards to their first win since Jan. 1 with a season-best scoring effort, topping the 30 points he piled up last week in Phoenix. Kuzma's five made threes also tied his season best. Kuzma has had a rough campaign overall, but he's showing signs of breaking out with the trade deadline looming -- he's provided 20-plus points in three of the last nine games, averaging 17.1 points, 7.4 boards, 2.7 assists and 2.0 threes during that span.
