Small was not only back in the rotation, but he also started, logging a season-high 33 minutes. He ended the game with a full stat line, continuing what has been a relatively positive month. In 11 games during that span, he has been able to flirt with top 60 value, averaging 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 three-pointers. Despite the uncertainty in Memphis, it appears as though Small could maintain standard league relevance for the remainder of the season.

Small had appeared in each of the Grizzlies' first six games following the All-Star break, averaging 13.2 points, 4.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 three-pointers and 1.5 steals in 25.5 minutes per contest while shooting 51.1 percent from the field. After Tuesday's contest, Small will be eligible to suit up for 21 of the Grizzlies' remaining 22 games, so his availability shouldn't be much of an issue moving forward.

Small is not in the Grizzlies' starting lineup against the Pacers on Sunday, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.

The rookie second-rounder made his first NBA start against the Warriors on Wednesday and was in the starting five in Friday's loss to the Mavericks, when he logged nine points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals and one three-pointer over 26 minutes. Small will return to the bench for Sunday's contest while the Grizzlies roll with a starting five of Walter Clayton, Scotty Pippen, GG Jackson, Jaylen Wells and Olivier-Maxence Prosper.
