Garland logged a team-high 23 points (7-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, eight assists, one block and three steals over 34 minutes during Monday's 123-112 loss to the Jazz.
Analyse
The five made three-pointers represented his best showing from long range since Dec. 22. Garland saw his scoring sag around the holidays, but he appears to be finding a groove again, topping 20 points in three of the last four games while averaging 22.5 points, 7.0 assists, 2.0 threes, 1.3 boards and 1.3 steals in that time while shooting 55.1 percent from the floor.

Will play Thursday
Garland (hand) has been cleared to play Thursday against the Timberwolves, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Analyse
Garland was added to the injury report earlier in the day with a right hand contusion, but he was spotted going through his normal warmups about one hour before tipoff and has since been given the green light to play. He's coming off an impressive 29-point performance against Indiana, his best showing since Dec. 19.

Garland was a very late addition to the injury report, and that's usually not a good sign in fantasy hoops. Garland was terrific Tuesday against Indiana, finishing with 29 points (14-23 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six assists and two rebounds across 33 minutes. Craig Porter and Lonzo Ball may be asked to step up if Garland is unable to clear this questionable tag.
