Sorare Pro Gameplay is leveling up for the 2024-25 Season, bringing more ways to play and more ways to win. With an expanded competition lineup, Managers can now take part in 20+ competitions across five scarcities, rewarding 25% of lineups in each competition! We’re also introducing Multi-Entry, allowing you to maximize your strategy and chances to win.

Gameplay Enhancements

The 2024-25 Sorare NBA season isn’t just about more ways to play – it’s about unlocking even more ways to win. With the latest gameplay enhancements, your Sorare NBA experience is set to reach new heights, bringing you closer to the action and maximizing your potential rewards.

Multi Entry

Have some cards that have been dying to see some action in your gallery? Introducing Multi Entry, a game-changer for the 2024-25 NBA season, available across both In-Season and Classic Competitions. 

Each lineup you submit is a new chance to win, with rewards stacking up as you dominate multiple entries in a single competition.

Here’s how many lineups you can enter in each competition per scarcity:

Please note, there is no Multi-Entry for Common competitions. 

Reward Boxes

Reward Boxes add a whole new layer of excitement each Game Week, giving more Managers the chance to not only win but revel in the thrill of pulling something truly memorable.

There are five types of Reward Boxes: 1-5 star boxes, each offering different odds of containing Essence or Market Credits*. 5 Star Reward Boxes offer better odds of rewards, while 1 Star Reward Boxes provide a solid chance to enhance your collection.

 Competition Updates

Alongside these new gameplay changes, we’re improving our overall competition structure with a few additional changes:

• Unique Contender: Now available in both In-Season and Classic Competitions.
• Rec League, Garage Hoops, and Streetball: These formats have been removed to streamline and enhance gameplay.

Transition to a New Era: Competition Summary

This season marks the beginning of a new era in Sorare NBA, with the introduction of two complementary competition types: In-Season Competitions and Classic Competitions. These formats are designed to give you unparalleled flexibility and strategy, catering to different playstyles—whether you’re focused on the latest roster updates or leveraging the strength of your existing collection, there’s something for everyone. 

All competitions in Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique will have In-Season and Classic versions.

In-Season Competitions

2024-25’ In-Season Cards aren’t just cards – they’re your front-row ticket to the latest Sorare NBA developments. Whether it’s a breakout rookie performance or a mid-season trade that shakes up the league, In-Season Cards ensure you’re always one step ahead, with exclusive access to our $45,000 per Game Week in total cash rewards.

In-Season Cards offer you access to 10+ In-Season competitions spread across our 4 Pro Scarcities, giving you More Ways to Play, and More ways to win amazing cash rewards!

Classic Competitions

Classic Cards are more than just memories – they’re the backbone of your Sorare journey. Consisting of all previous season cards (2022-23 and 2023-24), Classic cards allow Managers to harness the star power of past champions or blend them strategically with fresh talent. These legacy cards offer a timeless advantage across a variety of competitions, unlocking the chance to win 2024-25 season cards and climb to the top in both Classic and In-Season Competitions!

Special Weeklies & Chases

We are pausing Special Weeklies for Pro while we focus on delivering engaging and fun gameplay in Daily Hoops. You can still run lineups in your favorite special weeklies from the past in Daily Hoops!

Throughout the season, we will run Chases around 2-3 key moments ensuring significant prizing and exciting experiences. Stay tuned for when the first Chase will be!

Common Competitions

New to the game? Common Competitions offer opportunities for all Managers, giving you a chance to rise through the scarcities! This season, we’re introducing a new lineup of common competitions: Tip Off, Contender, and Champions.

Now, let’s dive into what this unlocks for you.

Tip Off

Learning the ropes of Pro? Tip Off is the perfect place to start! Compete against other Managers new to Pro for the chance to win Limited Cards and Essence. 

Managers can include up to 4 Limited Cards in their Tip Off lineup, each receiving a 20% scoring bonus! Once you’ve won a Reward Box or Limited Card four times, you’ll complete Tip Off. Now, you’re ready to compete with the big dogs in scarcity competitions, or you can keep honing your skills in Common Contender and Champion.

Common Contender and Champion

Common Contender and Common Champion are game modes that offer more opportunities to win Limited Cards, Essence, and Common Cards to get you ready for the next level.

Here’s how lineup restrictions break down:

• Contender: 120-point Cap
• Champion: 120-point Cap + MVP

Managers can include up to 4 Limited Cards in their lineups, each receiving a 5% scoring bonus

Training

With our recent infrastructure upgrades, we’ve taken a more integrated approach to align training initiatives across all of our products. For the 2024-25 season, here’s what you can expect from training in Sorare NBA:

• Starting from Game Week 1, Managers will be limited to five training lineups per Game Week. Cards in these lineups will receive double XP.
• Cards not placed in a lineup will now passively gain 75 XP each Game Week.

Our goal is to bring strategy and lineup management back to the forefront. Drawing inspiration from the approach used in our football and MLB product, this new training system will enhance the fun and competitive spirit in every Game Week!
