Moving into regular role
Trammell will start in center field and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Rangers.

With injuries piling up in the Houston outfield, Trammell looks to have taken hold of a regular spot in the lineup. He'll pick up his sixth consecutive start Sunday after going 5-for-18 with a home run, two doubles, four RBI and three runs over his last five games. Trammell hasn't seen regular playing time since making his season debut June 23 following a right calf strain, but he managed to connect for his first home run of the year in Monday's game. The 27-year-old owns a career .626 OPS across 326 MLB at-bats, so it remains to be seen whether he can carve out a longer-term role on the active roster.
