Smacks two homers in win
Adell went 2-for-3 with two solo homers in Saturday's win over Seattle.
Analyse
Adell was a thorn in Bryan Woo's side throughout the contest, tagging the right-hander for solo homers in the third and and sixth innings as the Angels took care of business at home. It marked the first two-home run performance for Adell this season and he's now up to 20 long balls overall on the campaign. The outfielder finishes up the month of August with four homers, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored, batting .277 over that stretch.

Adell went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Tigers.
Analyse
The 25-year-old also got caught stealing for the 10th time this season, but Adell is creeping closer to a 20-20 campaign -- he's got 18 homers as well in 122 games. He's also been a more consistent contributor in August, slashing .277/.333/.446 through 90 plate appearances with a 24.4 percent strikeout rate that's a slight improvement on his 28.1 percent rate on the year. The Angels have been extremely patient with the athletic outfielder, and that patience could be paying off.
