Picks up fourth consecutive start
Heyward will start in right field and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Padres.
Analyse
Heyward has picked up starts in five consecutive matchups with right-handers and should have a relatively clear path to a strong-side platoon role in left field with Ben Gamel (fibula) recently joining Chas McCormick (hand) on the injured list. Since signing with Houston on Aug. 29, Heyward has slashed .235/.278/.441 with two home runs, six RBI, six runs and one stolen base in 16 games.

Heyward went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional RBI, one stolen base and two total runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Angels.
Analyse
Heyward opened the scoring with his third-inning homer and added an RBI single an inning later. This was his first multi-hit effort as an Astro, though he's often featured off the bench, going 7-for-26 (.269) over 14 contests since he signed with Houston. Overall, he has a .216/.293/.412 slash line with eight homers, five steals, 34 RBI and 31 runs scored across 77 games between the Astros and the Dodgers. The bulk of Heyward's playing time will come against right-handed pitchers.

Heyward went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer in Thursday's 6-3 win over the A's.

Heyward opened the scoring in the second inning with a two-run shot off Mitch Spence, his first homer in 12 games with the Astros and his seventh of the season. The 35-year-old Heyward has gone just 3-for-21 (.143) since joining Houston while primarily coming off the bench, a role that'll likely continue with Kyle Tucker returning to the outfield Friday. Overall, Heyward's slashing .201/.282./387 with 32 RBI, 29 runs scored and four steals across 220 plate appearances between the Astros and Dodgers this year.
