Homers, drives in five in win
Myers went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and five RBI in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Myers doubled home two runs in the sixth inning and then broke the game open with a three-run homer in the eighth. The long ball was the 28-year-old's first since July 6, as he missed over two months with a fractured left ankle. On the year, he is hitting .264 with three home runs, 19 RBI, 17 runs scored and four steals across just 104 plate appearances with the Marlins.

The Marlins activated Myers (ankle) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Analyse
Myers has been shelved since just before the All-Star break with a fractured left ankle, but he's ready to return after playing a few rehab games with Triple-A Jacksonville. The Marlins currently aren't scheduled to face any lefties this week, so the right-handed hitting Myers will likely be more of a bench bat.

Myers has been on the shelf since July 13 while recovering from a fractured left ankle, but he's ready to rejoin the big club for the final week of the season after going 4-for-12 with two home runs and two walks over four rehab games with Triple-A Jacksonville. The 28-year-old could be a candidate to occupy the short side of a platoon with one of the Marlins' three left-handed-hitting everyday outfielders (Kyle Stowers, Jesus Sanchez and Griffin Conine).
