Ewing launched a two-run homer off Seth Lugo in the second inning before adding an RBI single in the fourth. He swiped his ninth base of the season in the sixth. The rookie center fielder took Martin Perez deep in the second inning, Ewing's fifth homer of the season and third in the last 11 games -- a stretch in which he's delivered a .314/.400/.600 slash line with a double, six runs and seven RBI. He's also stolen a base but has been caught stealing three times in that span, leaving him with a shaky 8-for-14 showing on the basepaths since his mid-May promotion.
