Makes quick stop in locker room
Collins went to the locker room during the third quarter of Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to an undisclosed injury, but he returned for the start of the fourth, Adam Ausland of Fox Sports Radio reports.
Analyse
Ausland notes that Collins appeared to suffer the injury while competing with Brook Lopez for a rebound. Collins checked out of the game with 6:23 remaining in the third period to get evaluated in the locker room. He would later emerge from the tunnel in time to start the final period of play.

Collins accumulated 22 points (9-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one block over 35 minutes during Sunday's 127-113 win over Milwaukee.
Analyse
Sunday marked a breakout performance for Collins, who logged his most minutes and points since returning from a recent seven-game absence with a neck strain. The playing time is particularly a sign the power forward is cleared of whatever restrictions the Clippers had in place for Collins of late -- he last played at least 30 minutes back in February.

Collins logged five points (2-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and two steals in 20 minutes during Friday's 114-113 victory over Indiana.
Analyse
Despite continuing to start, Collins has seen his role reduced of late, having logged more than 25 minutes only twice in his past seven appearances. During that time, he has barely been a top-200 player, averaging 10.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 24.1 minutes per game. Although he does possess the upside to be a top-70 player, managers are well within their rights to move on from him, given his current role.
