Spencer matched his season low with two points, continuing to play off the bench behind Ty Jerome. Despite what has been a breakout campaign, Spencer's long-term fantasy value remains somewhat of a mystery. He now has plenty of competition for playing time, having to deal with the likes of Jerome, Scottie Pippen, Walter Clayton (calf) and eventually, Ja Morant (elbow). Spencer remains a soft hold in standard formats, although it wouldn't be surprising to see him let go in a few spots, given the uncertainty.

The team's backcourt is getting crowded even with Ja Morant (elbow) still sidelined, as Ty Jerome (calf) made his season debut Jan. 31 and Scotty Pippen (toe) followed Friday, and the Grizzlies seem more comfortable having Spencer in the second unit. Over the last three games in that role, he's averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 assists, 2.7 threes and 2.3 boards in 26.0 minutes.
