What is a MetaMask wallet? 

MetaMask is a popular and established browser extension that functions as a cryptocurrency wallet connecting to the Ethereum blockchain. It is compatible with browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Microsoft Edge.

MetaMask allows users to interact with the Ethereum ecosystem, which hosts a vast universe of decentralized applications (dapps), without having to download the entire blockchain on their device. It also allows for easy access to Web3 decentralized exchanges (DEX), and games with decentralized and scarce items, like Sorare.

In addition to storing Ethereum's native currency, ETH, MetaMask holds tokens that are built on the protocol’s ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards. Sorare is built on the ERC-721 standard.
