Análise
Joe earned his third start of the season and stepped up on the offensive end while the Thunder were without several key weapons. He's been dialed in from deep lately, where he's knocked down 17 of his last 31 tries (54.8 percent) over his previous four appearances.

Joe will join the first unit with the Thunder missing three of their usual five starters. Joe fell short in his last opportunity with the starting five, as he tallied two points in 37 minutes Feb. 4 against San Antonio.

Although Cason Wallace continued to start for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen), Joe also helped to fill the gap with another strong performance. Joe struggled during a spot start last week against the Spurs, and his swift demotion served as proper motivation for the sixth-year pro. With Jared McCain shooting up the depth chart, Joe will need to keep his production up to preserve his spot in the rotation.

Joe provided 21 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds, two assists and three steals in 29 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 112-106 loss to the Rockets.
Análise
It's the second time in the last three games that Joe has topped 20 points, but both those performances came with the second unit, while he managed just two points in a spot start Wednesday against the Spurs. That was also the only time in the last seven contests that Joe has failed to drain multiple three-pointers, a stretch in which he's averaging 12.4 points, 2.9 threes, 2.4 boards, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.1 minutes.
