Pitch Notes, August 14: Preset Lineups, Scouting Upgrades and Smarter Collections
We’ve got a fresh batch of updates this week: Pre-Set Lineup Beta, upgrades to the Scouting Center & Watch List, Collections with new logic & UI/UX improvements.
Preset Lineup Beta: Build Tomorrow’s Team Today
You can now preset a lineup in Pro mode so it enters automatically for the next step, the moment you validate the step before it.
One rule to remember: your preset team only counts if the previous step is validated and every player in your preset lineup hasn’t kicked off yet.

This feature is in beta. We are collecting feedback from this weekend’s action before rolling it out further, so for now, double check that your lineup actually saved before kickoff. There will be no rollback if an issue comes up during the beta.
Once you pass a step, you can check the history of your queued lineups and see which ones got validated or rejected, along with the reason behind any rejection.
Validate early, and let the game do the rest.
We are still waiting on iOS approval for this update, so it isn’t available on the app yet.
Scouting Center and Watch List: Scout Anyone, See Everything
Your Watch List just got a lot more useful. You can now add any player who has ever had a card on Sorare, not only the current In-Season one.
Scouting Center picked up three upgrades to match:
- Selecting a league now shows a player’s computed values across every club they have played for, not only their current one. Perfect for spotting the impact of a transfer before everyone else does.
- Club graph bars that used to grey out for a previous club now light up.
- You can now sort and filter by price. The value shown is the average of the last three sales on the primary market for Limited and Rare, and the latest sale on Super Rare and Unique.

Collections That Follow the Action
Your Collections just got smarter about real transfers. When a player switches clubs, here is what happens now:
- If you don’t own their card, it’s removed from their old club’s Collection.
- If you do own the card, you keep your slot.
Your Collections should reflect the game as it’s actually played, not punish you for a transfer you had no control over.
Small Screens, Big Upgrades
A handful of UI and UX changes make navigating Sorare feel sharper:
- Top Lineups: instantly see which of your Arena teams are performing best, right from your Lineups tab. The reward overview is also back, just click on the rewards.

- Reward Boost tracker: when you’re building a lineup with rares, Pro Boards now show your reward boost as you compose, so you know exactly what you’re playing for before you hit submit.

- Smarter navigation: switching between Pro and Arena now remembers your last position, so you land back where you left off instead of starting from scratch.
- Soon: Rarity switcher on Collect Missions: switch directly between rarities within a Collect Mission for less friction
We are still waiting on iOS approval for many of these improvements to be available on the app.
Try It This Weekend
