What are the Different Sorare MLB Competitions?

Sorare MLB 2026 is built around two pillars — In-Season and Classic — plus dedicated Arena and Daily Mission formats. Each is designed to reward different playstyles and progression goals.

In-Season

In-Season competitions are open to current-season cards only and offer the highest reward potential. They feature two parallel modes each Game Week:

  • Leaderboards (PvP): compete directly against other Managers. Your ranking determines your reward.
  • Hot Streaks (PvE): compete against defined score thresholds. Consistency across multiple lineups is rewarded. Available at Limited, Rare, and Super Rare/Unique levels.

In-Season Leaderboard rewards are bigger than ever in 2026. With a full Unique lineup, Managers can compete for over $10,000 in rewards in a single Game Week.

Classic

Classic competitions are open to all cards, regardless of season. In 2026, lineup allowances have been significantly expanded:

  • Limited / Rare: up to 4 lineups per Game Week (previously 2)
  • Super Rare: up to 2 lineups per Game Week (previously 1)
  • Unique: up to 2 lineups per Game Week (previously 1)

Arenas

Arenas are small-field head-to-head competitions where 10 Manager lineups compete for a dedicated prize pool. Entry requires Essence. New formats in 2026 include SO5, National/American League-only, Hitters-only, and season-specific competitions.

Daily Missions

A unified daily engagement mode that lets Managers activate approximately up to 15 players per day across both In-Season and Classic inventories. Rewards include Essence, Credits, Crafting Clues, XP, and more.
