What is Pro?
Pro Mode is where you play Hot Streaks: climb a board's steps by hitting a scoring target with your lineup, until you reach the top or run out of lives.

Anytime Entry
You can enter a Hot Streak board at any time — there's no Game Week start and no minimum-team requirement. A board is open as soon as a domestic league match featuring a licensed team is being played. You enter or edit a lineup up until the first player in it kicks off, so you can wait for confirmed starting lineups before submitting. Once you clear a step, you can immediately move to the next one — you're not limited to one step per weekend.
Pre-Set Lineups
On every Pro board, you can pre-set lineups for upcoming steps. Once your current step is cleared, the next pre-set lineup is submitted automatically, as long as none of its players have started their match yet. You'll be notified only when something needs your attention — a DNP to handle, or a reward to claim.
Step Clock
You still have 4 lives and 4 lineup tries per step. Once you submit a lineup to start a step, you have until the end of that matchday to clear it, or the step is failed. A matchday is one round of matches across a given league (34 rounds in the Bundesliga, 38 in LALIGA, and so on).
You can't start a step, lose a life, and then wait for the following weekend to try again on that same step. You're always free to skip a matchday and not play a step at all — but once you've submitted an active lineup, you have that matchday to clear it.
Example: You start a step on Friday with a Bundesliga lineup and submit up to 4 lineups across the matchday. If the last match of the matchday ends on Sunday and you haven't hit the target, the step is failed.
Example: You clear a step early — say, on Saturday. You can move straight to the next step with a Sunday lineup, and in that case you have until the end of the following matchday to clear it.
If a match is postponed, the step clock adjusts around it — extending when possible, or dropping the match when it can't. You'll always have a clear window to complete your step.
Some grouped competitions (Contender, for example) span several leagues and follow a tailored step clock: it runs until the latest next matchday end among the leagues in the group.
Scoring validation
- If your lineup is above the target at first validation (a few minutes after the final whistle), the step is validated and the reward is yours — even if a later score correction pushes you below target.
- If you're below target at first validation, the lineup is marked failed but stays reviewable: if a later score correction pushes it back above target, the step is validated automatically. You can also retry immediately with a new lineup instead of waiting.
- Failed lineups stay reviewable until the end of the Game Week in which the last match was played. After that, scores are final.
Rare Reward Bonus
Playing Rare cards on a Pro board earns a reward bonus:
- +15% per In-Season Rare card in your lineup
- +40% if your captain is an In-Season Rare card
- A full lineup of In-Season Rare cards earns a 2X bonus on the base prize pool
Super Rare and Unique cards are also eligible to play in Pro Mode, and benefit from the same bonus.
A few other details
- Lineup Bonuses (Cap 260, Multi-Club) do not apply in Pro Mode — they remain active in Arena mode only. New Season, XP, Collection, and Captain bonuses still apply.
- Scarcity bonuses don't apply on Pro boards.
- You can't cancel an active lineup (one where at least one match has kicked off), and a card is locked while it's in an active lineup — though you can still use that same card in a different lineup for another match.
- You can forfeit a step at any time and restart from step 1; all cards become available again when you start a new step.
