Revealing the celebration

Are you ready for the thrill of the reveal? These cards are hidden, shrouded in mystery, awaiting unveiling.  

But when the time is right – when your player makes a decisive action on the pitch – the magic moment happens. The pack opens, and the card is revealed, celebrating the extraordinary performance that just unfolded on the pitch.

It’s more than a card. It’s a memory, a celebration of a moment.

Cards timing & utility

Over the next two weeks, you’ll have the chance to purchase Celebration packs of star players—featuring iconic celebrations—through Auctions or Instant Buy. These cards highlight moments that make managers proud, with players like Cole Palmer, Gyökeres, Mbappé, Haaland, Lamine Yamal, and more. Find the full list HERE.

These packs and Special Edition cards can be used in Sorare Football competitions like other Limited, Rare, and Super Rare Cards. As soon as the card is revealed, your pack becomes a Special Edition card, contributing 20 points toward your Collection Score, which helps boost your Collections Bonus. As always, Special Edition cards are part of the existing player card supply.

How do I open my pack ? 

• Once you have a Celebration Card, it will be locked. Your pack will only unlock when your player performs a decisive action on the pitch. 
• As a reminder, here is the list of the decisive actions available on Sorare : Goal, Assist, Penalty Won, Clearance off the line, Cleansheet (GK only), Penalty save, Last Man Tackle.  
• Right after purchasing your Celebration card, you’ll receive cosmetics to shine your profile.

Note : Your player doesn’t need to be in one of your lineups, and you’ll need to wait for the game to finish before unlocking it.

What happens if I purchase a card via Auction/Instant Buy after the player has already made a decisive action?

You’ll need to wait for the player to make another decisive action to unlock your pack. However, if you purchase a card after the player has already performed a decisive action but before the game ends, you’re guaranteed to unlock and reveal your celebration card right after the final whistle! It’s our way of rewarding Managers who celebrate their players’ decisive actions live during the match.

What happens if I purchase a pack and the player is transferred?

No worries, the card will still unlock when the player makes a decisive action, even if the player is transferred to another club. The celebration design will match the club associated with the card at the time of purchase.

What happens if my player doesn’t perform a decisive action by the end of the season?

The pack will be openable at the end of the season.
