Expected to miss one week
Durant (ankle) is expected to miss at least one week of action, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Monday.
Analysis
This is a tough blow for Phoenix, with Charania noting that the team is 1.5 games out of a Play-In spot with the toughest scheduling remaining. Based on this timetable, Durant will miss Phoenix's three-game road trip at a minimum, putting a potential return against Golden State on April 8 on the table. With Durant out, a number of players could be asked to step up including Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale and also Bradley Beal (hamstring), if he can get the green light to return.

Won't face Milwaukee on Tuesday
Durant (ankle) will not travel with the team for Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Shane Young of Forbes.com reports.
Analysis
Durant suffered a left ankle sprain during Sunday's loss to the Rockets, and head coach Mike Budenholzer suggested he will not travel with the team for Tuesday's contest. Durant will undergo an MRI on his ankle Monday to determine the severity of the injury. Royce O'Neale and Oso Ighodaro figure to see increased minutes with Durant sidelined.

Won't return Sunday
Durant will not return to Sunday's game against the Rockets due to a left ankle injury, Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports reports.
Analysis
Durant appeared to step on Jabari Smith's foot while driving to the rim, causing his ankle to turn. Since Durant was unable to shoot the free throws, he cannot return to Sunday's contest. He concludes the game with 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist and a block in 22 minutes. Considering the nature of the injury, it wouldn't be surprising for Durant to miss some time, leaving minutes for role players such as Royce O'Neale and Oso Ighodaro.

Durant notched 23 points (7-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals over 34 minutes during Friday's 124-109 loss to the Timberwolves.
Analysis
The 23 points led the Suns as Durant topped 20 for the fifth straight game and the 12th time in 14 March contests. On the month, the 36-year-old superstar is averaging 27.1 points, 6.3 boards, 4.4 assists, 3.4 threes and 1.1 blocks while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor and an impressive 52.2 percent from beyond the arc.
