Posts another double-double
Towns had 19 points (7-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Sunday's 112-98 victory over Phoenix.
Analysis
Towns recorded either a double-double or a triple-double for a ninth consecutive game, but this was far from his best performance, mainly since he missed his three shots from beyond the arc while failing to record more than 15 field-goal attempts for the third time over his last four outings. The Knicks' chances of a deep playoff run lie heavily on Towns' shoulders, and the big man has mostly delivered. He's averaging 23.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game over that nine-game double-double streak.

Big production in win over Hawks
Towns tallied 30 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes Saturday in the Knicks' 121-105 win over the Hawks.
Analysis
Towns notched his eighth consecutive double-double in efficient fashion and is now shooting 50 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from three-point range during that stretch. He briefly exited at one point in the second quarter to be evaluated for an apparent ring finger injury, but he checked back into the contest after about a two-minute break and was fine the rest of the day. The Knicks will wrap up a back-to-back set with a matchup Sunday against the Suns, and fantasy managers will want to ensure Towns is playing in that contest before locking him into lineups. He previously sat out one game of the Knicks' last back-to-back set Tuesday and Wednesday while managing a sore knee.

Briefly exits Saturday
Towns appeared to hurt his left ring finger and headed back to the locker room with 7:39 remaining in the second quarter of Saturday's game versus the Hawks before checking back in with 5:26 left in the second quarter, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Analysis
Towns tallied 12 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes before exiting Saturday's contest. However, Towns ultimately missed just over two minutes of game time and should be able to play out the remainder of the game.

Leads with double-double in return
Towns totaled 25 points (9-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 13 rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 124-105 loss to Cleveland.
Analysis
Towns returned Wednesday after missing New York's previous contest due to left knee soreness, leading all Knicks in scoring and rebounds en route to a double-double performance. Towns has recorded at least 25 points and 10 boards in 28 outings, doing so in three of his last five appearances.

Good to go Wednesday
Towns (knee) is available and starting against the Cavaliers on Wednesday, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Analysis
Towns didn't play in Tuesday's win against the 76ers due to left knee soreness, but he'll be on the floor for the second leg of the Knicks' back-to-back set Wednesday. He averaged 23.1 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals over 34.9 minutes per game in March while connecting on 41.4 percent of his three-point attempts.

Probable for Wednesday
Towns (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
Analysis
After getting a maintenance day Tuesday versus the 76ers on the front end of a back-to-back set, Towns is expected back in the lineup despite some soreness in his left knee. With Towns likely suiting up, Mitchell Robinson will likely shift to the bench after an impressive fill-in start Tuesday with 14 points and 14 rebounds in 21 minutes.

Won't play against Philadelphia
Towns is out for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia due to left knee soreness, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
Analysis
The superstar big man can be considered day-to-day ahead of the second end of New York's back-to-back set Wednesday in Cleveland. Mitchell Robinson will start in Towns' stead Tuesday, and plenty of usage will be available for the Knicks in Jalen Brunson's (ankle) continued absence. Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby should see plenty of playmaking opportunities against the 76ers.

Questionable Tuesday
Towns (knee) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Analysis
Towns has stayed relatively healthy this season for the Knicks but could be in danger of missing Tuesday's game against Philadelphia due to knee soreness. If the veteran star cannot play, the Knicks will likely turn to Mitchell Robinson and Precious Achiuwa to shoulder the load in the frontcourt.
