Solid outing off bench
Tyson scored 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), grabbed five rebounds and blocked one shot in 17 minutes during Thursday's 137-115 win over the Hawks.
Analysis
The rookie forward put together the second-best scoring game of his young career in the blowout victory and recorded just his second block while he was at it. He also contributed on the glass, and his efficiency was a plus for fantasy purposes as well. However, the bulk of his production came in the fourth quarter with the game already put away, so he likely can't be relied on for volume like this on a regular basis, even if Caris LeVert and Isaac Okoro (shoulder) remain out.

Reverts back to bench Thursday
Tyson will come off the bench in Thursday's game against Atlanta.
Analysis
The 22-year-old got the spot start for Darius Garland (rest) in Wednesday's win over Miami, during which Tyson posted four points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds and four assists across 30 minutes. The swingman has averaged 4.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 12.0 minutes per game over his last five outings off the bench.

Set to start Wednesday
Tyson will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Heat, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Analysis
Tyson will make a second straight start for the Cavaliers on Wednesday, with Darius Garland (rest) missing this game in Miami. The 21-year-old rookie has started only one other game for Cleveland during the 2024-25 campaign, finishing with 16 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in a blowout win against the Pelicans on Nov. 20.
