Scheierman notched 15 points (6-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes in Wednesday's 96-76 loss to Orlando.
Analysis
Scheierman got the first start of his NBA career Wednesday with Boston without its full slate of starters, tallying a team-high-tying point total and ending as one of five players in double figures. Scheierman is in the Celtics' starting lineup against the Magic on Wednesday, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
Analysis
The rookie first-round pick out of Creighton will make his first NBA start due to the absences of Jayson Tatum (ankle), Jaylen Brown (knee), Jrue Holiday (shoulder) and Derrick White (ankle). Scheierman has seen his minutes grow since the All-Star break and should see plenty of scoring opportunities with the Celtics missing their top six players Wednesday.

Analysis
The Celtics ran away with this game in a hurry, allowing Scheierman to see some minutes in garbage time.
