Ruled out Wednesday
Nembhard (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.
Analysis
After nearly dropping a triple-double in Saturday's game against the Spurs, Nembhard will miss Wednesday's matchup against Detroit. The 24-year-old guard is having a solid season for the Pacers, averaging career-high numbers across the board, which means they'll miss him against a vastly improved Pistons squad. Ben Sheppard or Aaron Nesmith could end up being his replacement in the starting lineup for Indiana.

Analysis
The 25-year-old posted a game-best mark in assists while also tying Thomas Bryant with a game-high three swipes. Nembhard delivered an efficient 15-point performance, tying his scoring total from the Pacers' previous two outings. The third-year pro has also finished as the club's top distributor in each of his last two outings, and he has dished out eight or more assists in five of his 30 regular-season appearances.

Nembhard racked up eight points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and three steals over 26 minutes during Thursday's 140-110 loss to the Spurs.
Analysis
Nembhard distributed the ball well Thursday despite having somewhat of a quiet scoring performance, leading all Pacers in assists to go along with a team-high trio of steals in a balanced performance. Nembhard has handed out eight or more assists in four outings this season, doing so in two of his last four contests. He also matched a season high in steals, a mark he has recorded on two other occasions.
