Out against lefty
Tauchman is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.
Analysis
The left-handed-hitting Tauchman doesn't always sit out against southpaws, but he will take a seat for this one as the Yankees send southpaw Carlos Rodon to the bump. Brooks Baldwin is in right field for the White Sox.

Idle against southpaw
Tauchman is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.
Analysis
The White Sox are running out a full lineup of right-handed-hitting options to counter Royals southpaw Noah Cameron, so Tauchman will join fellow left-handed hitters Kyle Teel, Andrew Benintendi and Colson Montgomery on the bench. Michael Taylor will cover right field in place of Tauchman, who will put a six-game hitting streak on hold Monday unless he's called upon off the bench.

Scores twice
Tauchman went 2-for-4 with two runs scored Sunday against the Twins.
Analysis
Tauchman was back in the lineup and led off after missing Saturday's game with lower-body soreness. He singled in both the first and second innings and came around to score on each occasion. The performance also extended Tauchman's hitting streak to six games, during which he's recorded three RBI and five runs scored.

Back in lineup Sunday
Tauchman (lower body) will start in right field and bat leadoff Sunday against the Twins.
Analysis
The veteran outfielder was held out of Saturday's 7-3 win as a precaution due to lower-body soreness, but he's good to go for Sunday's series finale versus Minnesota. Tauchman is in the midst of a modest five-game hit streak and has gone 7-for-22 (.318 average) with a double, three RBI and three runs during that stretch.

Battling soreness
White Sox manager Will Venable said Tauchman is getting a precautionary day off Saturday due to lower-body soreness, Jack Ankony of SI.com reports.
Analysis
The White Sox are going through a stretch of 17 games in 17 days, and the team is looking to get some of its everyday players additional rest. Tauchman will get a breather Saturday as he tends to some minor lower-body soreness. Michael Taylor is playing right field Saturday while Andrew Benintendi slots in at DH.
