Racks up three hits
Varsho went 3-for-4 in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Dodgers.
Analysis
Varsho has swung a hot bat during the Blue Jays' road trip, going 8-for-14 with three home runs and 10 RBI over his last three games. While most of his recent damage has come against the Rockies, it's encouraging to see the outfielder find some momentum at the plate. He's batting .241 with 11 home runs, 30 RBI, 17 runs scored and one stolen base through 121 plate appearances this season.

Day off Wednesday
Varsho is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Colorado.
Analysis
Varsho has gone 5-for-10 with three home runs in the first two games of the series, but since he just returned from the injured list a few days ago, the Blue Jays don't want to overextend him. Myles Straw will get a turn in center field and will bat ninth Wednesday.

Monstrous offensive performance
Varsho went 3-for-5 with a double, two homers and six RBI in Tuesday's victory over Colorado.
Analysis
Varsho built on his four-RBI effort Monday with a massive six-RBI showing Tuesday, fueled by two home runs. Injuries -- most recently a hamstring strain -- have disrupted his 2025 campaign, but when healthy, the center fielder has flashed serious power, posting a .602 slugging percentage across 28 games. If he can use this explosive series in Colorado as a springboard, it would be a huge boost for a Toronto team that's quickly emerging as a legitimate contender.

Racks up four RBI against Rockies
Varsho went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in a 15-1 romp over the Rockies on Monday.
Analysis
Varsho had the biggest hit in a seven-run third inning for the Blue Jays, crushing a 451-foot, three-run homer. He added a run-scoring single in the seventh before being given the final two frames off as Toronto built an insurmountable lead. Varsho had gone 0-for-6 with four strikeouts in his first two games back from the injured list, but a trip to Colorado may be just what he needed to get his bat back on track.

Getting breather Saturday
Varsho isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.
Analysis
Varsho went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Friday in his return from the injured list, and the Jays will sit him down Saturday in an effort to ease him back into MLB action. Myles Straw will pick up a start in center field and bat seventh.
