Bound for IL
Imaging revealed a flexor strain in Judge's right elbow Saturday, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.
Analysis
Manager Aaron Boone confirmed that Judge will need to spend time on the injured list. However, the superstar's UCL is intact, which significantly reduces his chances of an extended IL stint. Cody Bellinger, Trent Grisham and Jasson Dominguez will presumably operate as the Yankees' outfield trio while Judge is out.

Battling elbow injury
Manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that Judge is dealing with an elbow issue, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.
Analysis
Boone added that Judge had trouble throwing the ball in from the outfield during Friday's game against Philadelphia, so the Yankees brought him in for imaging and will hold him out of Saturday's contest. More information regarding the severity of his injury will be available once the results of his tests come back, but he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Rare day off Saturday
Judge isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.
Analysis
Judge will miss out on the starting nine for only the second time this season after going 1-for-13 with a home run and three RBI across New York's last four games. Jasson Dominguez, Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger will start across the outfield while Judge rests.

Up to 37 long balls
Judge went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Wednesday in a loss to Toronto.
Analysis
Judge went deep in the sixth inning, swatting a two-run shot that temporarily tied the game. It was his second homer since the All-Star break, though the slugger has gone just 4-for-22 with 10 strikeouts so far in the second half. Judge is up to 37 home runs on the season, tied with Shohei Ohtani for second most in the majors behind Cal Raleigh (39).

Clubs 36th long ball
Judge went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk Sunday in a 4-2 win against Atlanta.
Analysis
Judge got the scoring started Sunday with a 409-foot solo blast in the first inning. It was the fearsome slugger's first homer of the second half, and he's now up to 36 long balls on the campaign. Only Cal Raleigh (38) has more home runs than Judge this season.
