A fresh start to your journey

In case you missed it, Sorare 24-25 is the future of fantasy football, and with the Champions back, the game is on! As the new season starts, so does your journey: starting Friday 16th, we’re resetting the Game Week count to GW1. This is your chance to write a new chapter and win big this season.

Let’s also take a moment to celebrate the 500 Game Weeks milestone we reached a few days ago—millions of lineups, scouting sessions, decisive actions, and incredible emotions centered around our shared passion for football.

Full New Gameplay

We’ve been building up to this moment for a while. After the transition period and multiple iterations, our brand-new, reinvented gameplay is now fully live. Here’s a reminder of what you can expect:

• Exciting rewards:  Thanks to Early Access cards, you can immediately compete for top cash prizes in 2024-25 In-Season competitions. Also, remember that our new gameplay is more rewarding than ever! The top 50% in each In-Season Division – and the top 25% in each Classic Division – wins a Reward Box.
  
  
  
  
• The LALIGA competition is live! You can now see in which divisions your teams have been placed and compete with your favorite LALIGA players in both the 24-25 and Classic Competitions.
  
  
• The Bundesliga competition will go live next week. Remember, your Division placements will be based on the number and quality of Bundesliga cards you own by Friday, the 16th, at noon. The more higher-tier cards you own, the higher your first team Division will be.
  
  
• The U23 Classic competition is live too, you can already check in which Divisions your teams landed!
  
  
• Legacy Competitions: All-Star and Capped Mode have officially been phased out of the permanent competition structure, but don’t worry—you’ll still see them regularly in our Special Events.
  

• August Special Events: Remember to take a look at the August calendar here. Don’t miss out on our 🇧🇪 Pro League Special with $70,000 total cash reward that is starting on GW1 Friday 16th, at 4 pm CET.
  
  
• New Subs Rules: Starting GW1 on Friday, August 16th, we’re increasing the starting score for a substituted player from 25 points to 35 points.
  
  Although this scoring change won’t be live until Friday, we’ve already updated all past games and L15 scores to reflect the adjustment. As a result – and for this live GW only – you may notice some score discrepancies between your live teams, the players’ pages, and the marketplace. Once the change is officially implemented on Friday, scores will be consistent across all pages on the platform.
  
  This change introduces a new, fun strategy for Managers, with ‘super-subs’ becoming an exciting prospect for your clubs and lineups. To help you scout these players, we’ll be running a special Super Sub market event on Wednesday, August, 14th.
  
  
• Collection Bonus Update: A quick reminder that we’re making some tweaks to our Collection Bonus in Super Rare and Unique scarcities starting August, Friday, 16th. You can find all the details at the end of our last blog here.

Pro Lobby Improvements

As you’ve surely noticed, we’ve been rolling out improvements to our lobby, revamping the interface, and enhancing the Manager experience based on your feedback.



These changes include:

• A cleaner design
• Larger cards and stadium views for screenshotting and sharing
• A new overview panel to help you easily plan your teams and navigate directly to each one by tapping on it
• We will soon introduce Eligible Card Counters in various places to help you identify where you still have cards to fill existing or new teams
• An enhanced “Enter a competition” screen with more information available to help you enter new competitions.

Please note that we’re actively working on upcoming improvements and shortcuts to help Managers with multiple teams submit their lineups more quickly.

More is on the way, including filters and sorting options by scarcities, live games, performances, and more.
