I lost an auction but I see a charge from my bank

When you bid on an auction, your bank temporarily authorizes a charge. We don't take money from you. If you win the auction, the final bid amount will be charged to your account. If you do not win the auction, the bank will refund your transaction.

If you don't receive the refund from your bank, please contact them. Typically it happens relatively quickly (two days) but depending on your bank it may take as many as 45 days in some cases.

I bought a card but it does not appear in my gallery

If you bought a card from auctions on the Sorare Market or via direct offer, and it does not immediately appear in your gallery, do not panic. Although most purchases go through immediately, it can occasionally take 2-3 days for a transaction to finalize.

If the card does not appear in your gallery after 2-3 days, please reach out to our support team.

Can I get a refund or cancel bids and transactions?

Auction bids are final; and, when you win an auction, or sell a card, the transaction is final.

The card is yours (or theirs) to keep, sell, or trade.

One of the benefits of blockchain technology is true digital ownership. Because of the way that blockchain technology works, transactions are final and cannot be reversed or refunded.

I’m having issues with my credit card or bank card payments

If you are having issues with your credit card or bank card payments, we recommend:

  • Trying again, as it may be a network error
  • Check your balance and limit for sufficient funds
  • Contact your bank to see if there are any other issues

If you are receiving a "bank not approved" message after trying to sell a card for the first time, it is because your bank needs to be approved first. This is an automatic process and, when it is complete, you will be able to sell your cards.

In the event of issues continuing, please contact your bank directly for further information. Sorare is not authorized to act on behalf of your bank.

Why are some card trades settled faster than others?

The first time a card is traded or transferred on the blockchain, it usually takes a bit longer; however, once this first trade or transfer is out of the way, the card will trade more efficiently on the blockchain, and trades or transfers of that card will typically be completed within a matter of seconds.

Our goal is to always complete transactions efficiently, with a maximum wait of 24 hours, but delays with transactions can occasionally take up to 2-3 days. If you are still missing the funds/cards after this amount of time, please reach out to our support team.

If there is a delay, it is likely because the Ethereum network is busy and gas fees are high, or because the relevant team is reviewing the trade.

Why is one of my cards missing?

If you listed the card, received an offer, and accepted the offer, the card is likely sold and the transaction is in progress. Our goal is to always complete transactions efficiently, with a maximum wait of 24 hours, but delays up to 72 hours can occur during peak times of demand. If you feel there is still an issue and that you should have received your funds already, please submit a ticket.
