What is Arena?

Arena groups every Player-vs-Player leaderboard format: In-Season Arenas, Classic Arenas (7-player lineups), and Arena Rooms. Arenas are available across all scarcities, with Super Rare and Unique still merged into the same In-Season Arena leaderboard.

Cadence

Submit your lineups before Tuesday and Friday, 4PM CET. Rewards are distributed Tuesday and Friday evenings. Two exceptions: Arena Rooms keep anytime entry, and some Arenas may run on a later deadline in specific cases.

No more Divisions

In-Season Arena leaderboards no longer use Divisions. Each competition has a single, consolidated leaderboard and a single prize pool — no risk of posting your best score of the year in a lower division and missing out on the top rewards.

Sub Slots

To reduce the impact of DNP (did not play) players, every lineup in In-Season and Classic Arenas includes two optional sub slots:

• 1 goalkeeper sub slot — replaces your goalkeeper if they're DNP.
• 1 outfield sub slot — replaces any outfield player who's DNP, as long as the lineup stays position-valid (at least one player per position).

Rules to know:

• Subs are triggered automatically the moment a player in your lineup is confirmed DNP — no action needed on your side.
• If a sub is triggered, Lineup Bonuses (Multi-Club and Cap) are removed for that lineup.
• Only In-Season cards can be used as subs in In-Season Arenas.
• A sub only triggers on a DNP — if a player is benched but comes on, nothing happens.
• A card can only be used as a sub in one lineup at a time.
• If your captain is DNP, your sub becomes the new captain, and reward bonuses in Super Rare & Unique Arenas are recalculated accordingly.
• Subs earn the same XP as your starting five, whether or not they're subbed in.

A few other details

• A card played in a Pro lineup for a given match can't be used in an Arena lineup for the same match, and vice versa.
• Minimum 4 lineups per Arena, per scarcity (In-Season and Classic).
• Lineup Bonuses (Multi-Club, Cap 260 for In-Season, Cap 370 for Classic) remain active in both In-Season and Classic Arenas.
• Arena Rooms (unlocked with Essence, 10-player rooms) are unchanged.
