🛬 Instant Buy for Super Rare Cards
Starting Next Week, MLB Super Rare cards will be available for Instant Buy 🧑⚖️
Building on Instant Buy Success
This feature has been widely adopted and positively received, enabling Managers to acquire New Season cards at fixed prices and build their clubs more efficiently.
Why Extend Instant Buy to Super Rare Cards?
Given the success with Limited and Rare cards, we are confident that expanding Instant Buy to Super Rare cards will offer similar benefits.
With our gameplay dynamics, Managers seek convenient ways to prepare their squads early in the season. Auctions may not always meet this need, especially for Super Rare cards.
Maintaining Card and Supply Integrity
Instant Buy offers a solution that provides greater flexibility to match demand without pressuring our auction supply.
Similar to our approach with Limited and Rare cards, we are committed to preserving card and supply integrity. Cards sold through Instant Buy are part of our existing auction supply; this initiative does not increase the total number of cards sold and will result in fewer Super Rare auctions.
We will closely monitor this implementation and welcome community feedback to ensure a positive Marketplace experience and effective scouting.
⚡ Energy Exploit Fixed
We’ve fixed an issue where Managers could unintentionally recover all Energy from a lineup by listing an energized card for sale before lock.
- Before lock: If you cancel a lineup by listing a card for sale, you’ll now recover only the Energy used for that specific card — not the entire lineup.
- After lock: Energy will not be recovered if you remove a card from your lineup after the player lock deadline.
⚾ Common Essence Exploit Reversed
We’ve resolved a bug that caused incorrect pricing for Common cards in the MLB Marketplace.
Our next steps:
- Purchases reverted: Transactions made at the wrong prices have been rolled back and Common Essence Refunded.
- Common Essence adjustments: If you bought cards for the wrong price and sold for an increased amount of Common Essence, your Common Essence balance will be corrected. Any subsequent purchases with the exploited Essence will also be reverted.
