Young (ribs) has been cleared for Wednesday's game versus the Knicks.
Analysis
Young has yet to miss a game this season, although he was limited to 23 minutes of action Monday versus Boston after spraining his ribs. Young, Dyson Daniels and Garrison Mathews represent the only healthy members of Atlanta's backcourt with double-digit games of NBA experience.

Analysis
Young suffered a right rib sprain during Monday's loss to the Celtics and didn't return, but it looks like he's avoided a long-term issue. The probable tag also suggests Young shouldn't have any major limitations if he's indeed given the green light to suit up Wednesday.

Analysis
Young struggled to find his stride before leaving the game with a rib injury in the third quarter. It is unclear whether the All-Star will miss additional time, though Atlanta was getting blown out and there was seemingly no point in the star point guard playing through the injury.

Records another double-double
Young finished Sunday's 126-111 victory over the Pelicans with 23 points (8-15 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, 12 assists and one steal over 31 minutes.
Analysis
Jalen Johnson led the Hawks in scoring with his 29-point effort, but the impact Young is having on the team offensively can't be overlooked. He's scored at least 23 points in all but one of his outings, and he's also dished out 10 or more assists in six of his seven appearances. Even though it's early in the season, it would be shocking if he doesn't average a double-double for the third consecutive campaign. Through the first two weeks of the 2024-25 regular season, Young is averaging a robust 27.0 points and 11.7 assists per tilt.

Double-doubles once again
Young accumulated 25 points (8-21 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds and 12 assists across 42 minutes during Friday's 123-115 loss to the Kings.
Analysis
Young has been one of the best playmakers in the early stages of the NBA season, and the star floor general has recorded 10 or more assists in all but one of his six outings. Young has been doing more than dish out assists, though, and he's also reached the 25-point mark four times in that stretch. This translates to Young being one of the best fantasy point guards in 2024-25, thanks to averages of 27.7 points and 11.7 dimes per game in six outings.
