George will start in Friday's preseason game versus the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis
The 24th pick of the 2024 Draft impressed in Wednesday's outing versus the Knicks, during which he scored 14 points and racked up three blocks while shooting 5-for-6 from the field. George will slot into the small forward position, with Kyle Kuzma sliding to the four and Alex Sarr starting over Jonas Valanciunas at center.

Strong two-way production in loss
George finished with 14 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3PT, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's preseason loss to New York.
Analysis
George was impressive on both ends of the floor, dropping a team-high 14 points to go with four defensive stats. Taken with the 24th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, George is an intriguing, yet largely unproven prospect. While this was an encouraging performance, it's hard to envisage him seeing enough minutes to warrant fantasy attention, at least to begin the season.
