Mitchell logged 14 points (5-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Monday's 116-114 win over the Bucks.
Analysis
The superstar struggled from the field while taking a backseat to Darius Garland, who scored a game-high 39 points. Mitchell produced his season low in points, though he racked up two or more steals for the fourth time this season. The Cavaliers remain undefeated after eight regular-season games, during which the 28-year-old has averaged 23.1 points, 4.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals across 29.9 minutes per game. Mitchell has also shot an efficient 40.3 percent from deep and 48.3 percent from the field.

Analysis
The Cavs leaped to 7-0 following Mitchell's team-leading performance. Coach Kenny Atkinson is letting Mitchell take every shot possible, and it's resulting in massive dividends. The veteran guard is one of the hottest players in the league right now, and he posted 30 points Saturday night despite some inaccuracy with his mid-range shot.

Mitchell registered 22 points (9-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Friday's 120-109 victory over the Magic.
Analysis
Mitchell provided a boost to the Cavaliers offense despite somewhat of limited time on the floor in just over 20 minutes, ending second on the team in scoring while connecting on a pair of shots from deep. Mitchell has led Cleveland once again in the early part of the 2024-25 season, surpassing the 20-point mark in five of his six outings including in four straight contests.
