Carton recorded seven points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three assists, one rebound and a steal across 19 minutes during Sunday's 125-98 preseason win over the Wizards.

Analysis

Carton missed 20 games to close the 2023-24 campaign due to a right ankle sprain, but he returned to action to kick off the preseason. Carton appeared in just four games last season, averaging 2.8 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 9.0 minutes per contest. It figures to be an uphill battle for the 23-year-old pro to see a significant role this season.
