Analysis
Thomas struggled shooting from deep but still provided a lift to the Nets offense while finishing second on the team in scoring and as one of two Brooklyn players with a double-digit point total. Thomas' scoring total in Sunday's loss is his lowest of the season, but he's scored north of 20 points in five of his first seven contests.

The fourth-year guard is currently ninth in the league in scoring with 28.2 points per game and is well on his way to a career-best campaign if he stays healthy. Analysis
Thomas had a rough showing in this win, but fortunately for him, the likes of Dennis Schroeder and Ziaire Williams stepped up to carry the Nets to their second win in their last three games. Thomas is bound to have a few down performances here and there, but he remains the most reliable offensive weapon the Nets have from a scoring perspective -- even when factoring in Schroder's impressive start to the campaign. Through five games, Thomas is averaging 27.4 points per game while shooting 43.4 percent from the floor.

Thomas finished with 26 points (8-22 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 9-9 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 144-139 overtime loss to the Nuggets.
Analysis
The fourth-year guard continues to fill up the bucket. Thomas has scored at least 24 points in four straight games to begin the season, and he's seeing incredible shot volume so far -- he's averaging 21.8 field-goal attempts per game, tied for sixth in the NBA with Cade Cunningham, and Thomas' 7.3 FT attempts a contest also puts him in the top 20 in the league. As long as Thomas is seeing elite usage, a career-best campaign should follow.
